  • Vincent English

    Vincent English, President & Co-founder

Vincent English is a foreman for Boston Pipefitters Local 537 with over 20 years of experience. He holds a Journeymen license and has led some of the Boston area’s largest construction projects including those at MIT, Harvard, and Fenway Park.

After the tragic death of his younger brother, Michael, in 2017, Vincent started his journey of recovery from alcohol use disorder. Since achieving sobriety, Vincent has challenged himself to make The Michael English House, Inc. a reality. Having experienced the pitfalls of substance abuse in jails, homelessness, and recovery programs, Vincent has a deep understanding of the obstacles faced by those seeking sobriety and stability.

Vincent has spent his sober years crafting the vision for The Michael English House, Inc. In his recovery journey, he saw a need for pathways not only to sobriety but to success in all aspects of life for those in recovery.

Vincent's leadership and dedication embody Skilled Purpose's mission: to provide vision and opportunities that empower individuals to lead independent, purpose-driven lives.
